Up for sale is my 66 lincoln continental sedan. It has 66k original documented miles. It runs and drives great. the body is nice and straight but does need quarter work on both sides. it is russet in color, kinda like a maroon but lighter. interior is red and in great condition. the clock works. A/c inop but has had the temp control unit rebuilt, new temp sensors etc. I think it is a vacuum issue. no rust other than the quarters. Trunk is perfect with all jack items in perfect condition. Doors open and close easily and have no issues. All windows go up and down using bypass only. It has original newly rebuilt carb. new alternator, original rebuilt fuel pump. It seeps, not leaks oil from the pan gasket and im sure a few more gaskets. transmission shifts flawlessly with no issues . It is 100 percent complete. Also has a new turn signal switch. Underneath the car is mostly nice with most of original undercoating still intact. there is horwever 2 spots to patch. One is no bigger than a 4x4 inch size spot and the other is half that size. Wipers work no problem, lights work, cruise works if you fumble with it a bit. All glass is very nice, no cracks. It comes with original sticker, bill of sale to second owner and all documentation from 66 to today. Includes all service records, sales broshure, owners manual, automatic temperature control manual, shop manual, and some spare trim parts. also spare window motors . an extra driver window switch assembly , extra wiper arms. and 4 extra hub caps. I purchased the vehicle from an older gentleman who bought from original owner, he purchased in 1986. i also have a copy of the title he gave me. this is a solid original car for someone wanting to do a little body work and a decent paint job. When bought it i drove it 120 miles home with the only issue being the alternator which has been replaced. At the moment the rag joint needs rebuilt so car will need to be trailered . i love the car and havent had it very long but i really just want a convertible...
