This E39 M5 is low mileage and in exceptional condition. This car is immaculate, runs strong and great and every BMW employee or mechanic who sees it claims it is the nicest E39 M5 they have ever seen. I am the third owner of this car. The 1st owner of the car was a doctor who lived in Colorado and drove this sporadically in the winter when he was visiting Arizona. The second owner was a BMW lover who lived in Las Vegas and who had to sell the car due to physical limitations and an inability to drive a manual transmission. I have all maintenance records from when the car was new. This is a very well maintained and well cared for. I just replaced the clutch, flywheel and brakes. I recently replaced all O2 Sensors, MAF Sensors and the cam position sensor. It am sad to sell this call and this is the fastest, most beautiful and most comfortable car I have ever owned but I am deploying overseas and have some issues to attend to.The car has a new (less than 1,000 miles) UUC Motorwerks V8 Flywheel and Clutch kit. This clutch and flywheel kit, which retails for over $2,600, replaces the undersized stock clutch with components from the BMW 5.6l V12-engined 850CSi. When compared to the original 9.45"clutch, this 11.02” clutch has 50% more friction surface dramatically increasing the clutch lifespan and power-handling capabilities. This car also has the UUC EVO3 Short Shift Kit. Other than that, this vehicle is stock. Jet Black Exterior. Black Interior with black Alacantara headliner (included with the Extended Leather package interior). For those not familiar, the E39 M5 has the S62 Engine which displaces 4,941 cc, has 11.0:1 compression, individual electronically-controlled throttle bodies for each cylinder, Double VANOS continuously-variable valve timing on both intake and exhaust strokes, dual air induction, hollow camshafts, and free-flow exhaust with dual catalytic converters. The S62 produces 400 horsepower and almost 400 pounds of torque. Manual six speed gearbox, dynamic stability control, and numerous other performance features from the factory. Standard features include Xenon headlights, headlight washers, power and heated seats, power tilt and telescoping steering column, climate control, cruise, moon roof, etc. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions.On Dec-11-12 at 17:46:11 PST, seller added the following information: I just wanted to add a comment about the vehicle history. There is an incident reported showing from 2010 when I was the owner. I lady tried to squeeze between two cars and pull past me at an intersection and creased the left front fender at low speed. No airbag deployed nor was there any 'colision with an animal.' I am not sure how that reporting process works but I have never hit any animal with this or with any other car. The car looks and drives perfect with the exception of the normal minor rock chips and road rash found on any used car. Today is the first I have ever seen of an animal colision when I was reviewing my listing. Kind of caught me off guard and would be funny except that it is incorrect. Feel free to inspect of have the car inspected if desired. I would be glad to faciliate inspections and or transportaion at close of auction. Please take a look at my feedback. Look at the interior of this M5 and compare it to the others listed on EBAY. Few are as nice as this one.
