1981Volkswagen Rabbit diesel pickup truck, LX model with air conditioning. the condenser is missing, it was removed before i bought the truck. it has over 400k miles, four speed tran and was running when parked. it has been in storage since 1994 the reason it was parked was for a broken front coil spring. this truck needs a good bit of work before it can hit the road, it is a project i started and have lost interest in. i have the engine and trans removed because i was going to install a five speed trans. there is minor accident damage to the front unibody rails that does not seem to effect the front suspension of the vehicle. i have pictures of the crumple in the frame rails. the left rear fender, left cab corner and rocker panel, and the passenger side door all have alot of rust, but other than that the body is in preaty good shape and the under side is nearly rust free. the truck sells with the truck cap. also the rear glass was removed from the cab for some reason, i have the original glass and seal it just needs put back in. the engine turns over but i have neve heard it run, like i said before the previous owner said it was running when parked, but the starter is bad so i never tried to get it running before i pulled the engine. this truck is sold as is with no warranty. it is a mechanics special but could really be a nice vehicle for someone with more time than i have to put in to it. truck has a clean Ohio title ready to transfer. any other questions are welcomed. thanks
