This week I’m selling a friend’s 1969 El Camino. She has owned it for 38 Years. It is an original California car with clear title and the black plates still installed. The car body needs some rust repair mainly at the fender edges. The rear window area looks good and was repaired a few years ago. The bed cover has helped protect the bottom edge that always rusts on El Caminos. I have posted some pictures of issues with dents. Most are minor except for the scratch pictures and the hole from a CB antenna that was once there. The roof of the car has surface rust but nothing major. The floor pans look good as does the rest of the underside. It needs cleaning but otherwise solid. The engine is now a 350 two barrel and runs great. The auction will include the original 307 engine for the car. I posted a picture of it also. It is also a factory automatic car. The suspension is all stock and has a nice ride. The glass is in very nice condition. We took it for a drive and it is nice and quiet and has a tight feeling. Options include Power Steering and Factory Air. The Air will need recharging or fixing. As for the interior it will need restoration. The seat has covers but the seats are torn. The dash pad and steering wheel have cracks and will need replacing. Also the headliner will need to be replaced. In summary it’s to me a great project car. It drives nice and runs great. Feel free to email me with any questions.
