Extremely rare 1955 MGA , first year of the A model, this is the 419th car to be built. All original including 2- 6 volt batteries, needing complete restore. Engine number matches VIN plate unlike later in the year when the VIN stated "see engine". Car is near complete excluding lenses, and a few trim pieces. Includes side cutains (frames), has usual rocker and other sheetmetal rust but no frame problems. Engine spins freely on new starter and is not seized. Trunk base is completely solid. Car rolls freely and steers perfectly. Transmission shifts very solid. I have restored 5 MGA's and have never seen one this solid, especially considering it is as old as an "A" can get. If your going to restore one, this is the best candidate in terms of condition and value once its finished.
