here is my 1997 cr-125 up for grabs. this bike has been gettin rebuilt since 2010 but since i work natural gas pipeline i have put no more then 10 hours at most riding it since i bought it back in '10. im a certified motorcycle technician and this has been my consistent project through the last few years, adding new or aftermarket parts whenever i had the money. this is one fast machine! it doesnt look like much with its chopped fenders an all but ive just put more money into performance rather then looks. in the time ive owned this bike its never been raced. since this bike has been my baby for so long ive been overly caucious when riding it just because i dont want to wreck it. when i first started it after i rebuilt and modified the motor, it just couldnt get enough air so i cut "grab Handle" style holes into the number plates to see if that could fix the problem. after that it ran excellent! in the pictures it has the uncut set of number plates on just so it could look better in the photos. ive also replaced the brake oil front and rear along with the front fork oil. this bike has been serviced and maintenanced every 4-5 rides. i use silkolene pro-2x mixed at 36:1. it only gest honda hp coolant and bel-ray gear oil. ive got this thing tuned real nice and its never fouled the plug not once. this bike has been my pride an joy and id hate to see it go but money problems are making it too hard for me to keep it. this will be a great ride for anyone who likes snappy 2-strokes. ive tracked down most of my receipts for proof of the work done. the upgrades are as follows; Pro Taper pastrana high bend bars/ Pro Taper oversize clamps msr quick adjust lever (silver and anodized red) clutch and throttle cable replaced billet aluminum throttle tube uni air filter put on 2 rides ago v-force delta 2 reed valve system new top an bottom end crankshaft was taken to shop to be trued but it was in spec port an polished done by heads up porting in greeley,co; i also polished the whole lower end as well. boyesen coolant impeller talon clutch basket, vortex inner hub clutch plates replace 3 short rides ago eibach rear shock spring an fork springs front fork seals were replaced with new for oil Pro Taper top fork clamps pro-curcuit platinum pipe an shorty silencer/ packing was replaced as well D.I.D X-ring chain Tag rear sprocket with Sunstar front sprocket Pivot Works swingarm bearing kit installed head milled ten thousandths works connection frame guards and wide pegs tires are 70% - spare parts it comes with are stock pipe, front fender plus another off another bike thats just sitting in the garage an have no need for, set of side number plates, set of red shrouds, pro taper low bend bars with extra bar pad. ive been through this entire bike. ive greased every pivot point an kept up with all the necessary service it needs. it does need a new front brake cable the brake works you just cant do stoppies if you want. besides that an its chopped up look everything else is tight on this machine. for a 125 its a kick in the pants to ride. any questions id be happy to answer. thank you.
