Vehicle Detail
I am the second owner and purchased this Porsche in 1984 with 1,112 miles on the odometer. It had been kept in a heated/air-conditioned garage for its first 2 years. The car now has 214,993 on the odometer, which stopped working last month. The car is in strong mechanical condition. The engine pulls throughout the power range. The body is solid with only one dent in the right rear (see photo). No surface rust. Interior is in good condition with chocolate brown leather seats and faux sheepskin seat covers. The dash has no cracks. The car is a sample paint direct from the factory (Light ivory) and I even have the left over paint as supplied by the factory. (see photo). The paint is what you would expect for a car with over 200,000 miles. While the car shows its age cosmetically, it starts at the first key-turn. This would be a great car for a first time Porsche owner. This car is meant to be driven. I’ve enjoyed this 30-year old car for the time I’ve owned it. Over the time I’ve owned the car it has been garaged and upgraded in the following areas: Car has been lowered with the following suspension upgrades Bilstein Sport Shocks •Rear – Installed •Front – not installed (in trunk) Weltmeister suspension accessories: Strut Tower brace Turbo Tie Rod front end Kit Bump steer kit Wheels •Front - Fuch 7” x 16” •Rear – Fuchs 9” x 16” Engine professionally rebuilt by Carrerasport, Tallahassee, FL 911S cams High compression heads Carrera Chain Tensioner Update Kit CIS Air Box Pop-Off Valve K&N Air Filter Turbo Valve Covers Cooling Related Upgrades Updated Oil Cooling Kit Oil Cooler Air Scoop Compact Oil Cooler Kit (between oil tank and engine cooler) Transmission Related Transmission Rebuilt by Porsche Factory Short Shift Kit Shifter Bushing Kit Braking System Upgrades Rebuilt calipers New brake pads Stainless Steel Brake Lines Front Cross Drilled Brake Rotors Rear Cross Drilled Brake Rotors Lighting Related Upgrades Bosch H4 Euro Headlamps Euro Turn Signal Lights – Front and Rear Bosch Rear Fog Lamp Interior Related Upgrades Blaupunkt New York SQR Radio Blaupunkt CD Player Upgraded Speakers Front and Rear Floor Mats – Front and Rear Mat cover for rear shelf New fiberglass side pockets A/C Related Upgrades Rotary A/C Compressor (disconnected) Here’s what you need to do to make it complete. Repair an oil leak between the transaxle and engine. Repair odometer. Repair brake lights and turn signal. You’ll need to install the Bilstein front shock inserts, which are included. That’s it.
