Up for bid is a 1955 Chevy frame with a big block 402 and lots of other parts. The frame came off of a 1955 2 door sedan. The wheels and tires are the only things that are NOT FOR SALE with this auction. The engine is a 1972 big block Chevy 402. The casting number on the block is 3999290 with GM 10 T and a date code of E11 72. There is nothing wrong with this engine. The only reason I am not using these parts anymore is because I decided to build a gasser with a small block. The engine is very clean on the inside. I bought this car 3 years ago and it came with this engine. I was told when I bought it that it had about 5000 miles on it. I only drove the car about 800 miles over the last 3 years. The transmission is a turbo 400. I had it rebuilt shortly after I bought it to have a mild shift kit installed. It has a little less than 800 miles on it. It has a deep aluminum pan with a drain plug installed on it. The engine ran great and made the car move. It has a Holley fuel pump, Weiand aluminum water pump, chrome alternator, aluminum valve covers, complete fuel line back to the tank, battery cable that runs along the frame, 2 Edelbrock 1404’s, ceramic coated header, the driver’s side has a spot where it has been hammered in to fit around the steering box, starter, aluminum billet pulleys, and a duel quad Offenhauser intake maniforld. The parts consist of two bumpers, one rear and one front, both painted black, glove box cover, two blower motors for a heater, one blower motor housing, two heater core assemblies, one front bumper bracket, three 1956 front parking light housings with 3 lens covers, one piece of linkage for a 3-on-the-tree shifter assembly, two pro sound performance exhaust mufflers with collectors for headers on the block, two inner fender wells, one right and one left, with no rust, one aluminum transmission cooler with two lines to hook it up with, one chrome ring for dome light, 3 window cranks, 2 door handles, one chrome front fender paint divider, 2 brackets that hold on the lower front fender splash pans, one trunk lock assembly with key, one right and one left door lock mechanisms, one aftermarket aluminum grille for a 55 Chevy, one right and one left front fender splash pans, one rear window regulator, one fuel tank with filler neck and two straps to hold to body of car, misc steering assembly parts, two stainless steel transmission cooler lines, 2 rear green tinted windows, one has a crack in it, 2 brand new 1956 parking light lenses, one heater control, one set of MOON spark plug wires, one bucket of transmission fluid for turbo 400 transmission, one red optima battery, worked fine when it was pulled, low voltage, should only need a charge, two nearly new brake drums with nearly new pads and all of the other nuts and bolts to install them, these were pulled to install disc brakes, billet aluminum aftermarket gas pedal, brand new HEI distributor for small of big block Chevy, 2 speedometer assemblies, one window trim, one electric fan, and four aluminum door panels. It has a Ford nine inch rear end with a 350 posi installed. There are coil over shocks on the rear end. It has disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Most of the brake lines are intact. These parts are good 55-56 Chevy parts that need a little TLC. Most of these parts came off of a good running car. I will not ship these items, you will have to come and pick them up. I will be able to store them for a while if you are not able to come and get them right away. Items are for sale locally so I do have the right to end this auction at any time.
