This car is one of only 9 (nine) 1970 Mark III’s built with this color and trim options according to the Marti Report The car still has the original paint on the door tops and rear deck around the vinyl top as well as the fuel door. As you can see the match is excellent This car had a “survivor” restoration. This means the car was too nice to body off and restore only to trailer it for the rest of its life. The car was stored for many years and the second owner tried to start it without the benefit of common sense and cracked a piston. The engine was rebuilt and detailed without painting the air cleaner and valve covers. The new engine purrs. The car has the correct exhaust and is properly installed using original hangers. The car has a new correct cavalry twill top (white) not a dark color dyed white. All the bright work is original to this car and is very nice. The car has Michelin tires with lots of tread left. The original Michelin spare is in the trunk. The photos should speak for themselves. The door jams and door bottoms are original paint. The yellow inspection stamps can be seen on the trunk, fuel door and engine compartment. The photos of the ¼ panels show the spot welds and inner trunk pan alignment tabs are all intact and pristine. The frame in the photo is currently scheduled for a 1971 Mark III Ginger Brown/ White top/White leather interior. This can be modified to your tastes. This 71 will be in the 45K range and be a 100 point show car. The frame is powder coated, most every suspension/ engine bay/motor part that can be disassembled is also powder coated.
