Vehicle Detail
With confidence I can tell you this 1991 Vanagon Carat Wolfsburg Edition is the best one in all of Los Angeles County and up there when compared to all other Vanagons (non Westy) here in North America. It has been meticulously maintained from the time I acquired my Vanagon Carat in April of 2010. Since then I've had the engine rebuilt this van was not salvaged (176,000 miles on the body - 3,000 miles on the rebuilt engine), I've installed a new factory A/C unit, new bushings, shocks, both front disks and rear drum brake housing. The interior condition is immaculate with no rips, damage marks, missing or broken parts on this van, all the cup holders are present, both trays behind the rear seats are also present - yep, for those of you who know the Vanagon its these parts for whatever reason are usually missing from most Vanagons out there of today. Just a little bit more, please bear with me....I purchased custom made Lloyd floor mats for front and rear passenger compartment seating areas. I also purchased a custom made (black) dashboard cover and it looks real good. Central locking works perfectly as well as both power mirrors, cruise control and every single little dashboard light and interior lighting lights up as they should. The Vanagon is also equipped with a BlueTooth hands free stereo system. I want this Vanagon to go to a good home/family, to someone who knows about the Vanagon and know these cars are in a class of its own. The Vanagon's road manners are quite impressive for a big heavy automobile, however the Vanagon's acceleration and maximum speed is only modest and I hope this turns off any of you kids who may be interested in this particular Vanagon. Happy bidding and all the best to you. Feel free to contact me with any questions for more info, picture or video requests. If you're local, you're welcome to stop by for a look and test drive.
