With confidence I can tell you this 1984 Volvo 240 GLT is the best one in all of Los Angeles. It has been meticulously maintained from the time I acquired my Volvo. Maintenance and engine detail: · Rebuilt engine. All parts from Sweden, this essentially is a new engine and is currently under warranty. · The engine is a Turbo with Intercooler. · New factory Turbo unit and is currently under warranty. · New Muffler. · New Power Steering Belt with clutch. · The engine wire harness has been checked out Ok! does not need to be replaced. · The heater doesn’t work, needs a heater box for the heater to work again. · Brakes are good, Tires are good. · All Power Window and Door locks work. · Sunroof works perfectly. · There is one small dashboard crack half an inch in size at the front edge of the dashboard just above the instrument cluster. I am the second owner, I want this Volvo to go to a good home/family, to someone who knows about the Volvo 240 GLT. The Volvo's road manners are quite impressive and its really fast, however I do not want the Volvo to go to some kid who will not take care of such an old well-kept 1984 Volvo 240 GLT. Gas MPG is decent compared to newer more modern cars, it’s when the Turbo engages, MPG drops. Because the engine is new, my mechanic recommends premium gas to be used, in addition to checking oil level every 3,000 miles. Happy bidding and all the best to you.
