Up for auction is a 1981 Corvette. I have owned this car since the early 90's. It has been sitting in a pole barn for last 20 years We pulled the cover off it placed a battery in it and some fresh gas, and it started right up, so it does run. We checked the frame out and it is very solid even around the rear wheels. The body is in good shape all around with no dents or major scratches. The seats are in good shape. I pulled the carpet out way back in the 90's with plans to do something to the car and thats all I have done. I drove the car into the barn and parked it, and that is where its been since. This car is being sold as is, and I will answer any qustions I can about the car. Please look at all pictures closely and ask questions. I only know the history of the car from the time I bought it. I dont know the condition of the brakes, the brake lines, hoses, or wires. I dont know if the radio is original. There are things that will need to be replaced or repaired. There is no carpet in the car. The tires are the same tires from the 90's so they are bad. I dont know anything about the motor, transmission or exhaust other than it ran good in the 90's when I drove it in the barn and parked it. So please keep in mind that this car has been sitting for a long time, and its been started only, and there has been no attempt to drive it. Its not a show car by any means. So please please look real close at all the pictures and keep asking questions. I will do everything I can to answer them.
