PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION, VIEW ALL PHOTOS READ FULL TERMS AND AGREE BEFORE PLACING A BID. THANK YOU 1976 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe 4x4 This truck has been our driveway plow truck and summer truck for many years. It has not been driven on the roads in the winter, we always brought gas to it, it was never on the roads in the salt. I recently purchased a later model extended cab truck with a plow, consolidating vehicles, 1 truck to plow that can transport the whole family. 350 V8, Manual 4 speed transmission, big transfer case, lock out hubs.... a REAL truck not like the pushbutton junk they make today Has been maintained to death over the years. Anything it needed it got. Truck needs nothing, is ready to work or drive now. Has had over the past few years New Radiator and hoses, 140A alternator, new starter, new brakes and parking cables, all u joints, full tune etc. Just did valve cover gaskets. Original carb and manifold was swapped for a 4bbl set up years ago. Original Meyer plow head was swapped for a Western cable driven head, they are a better unit and pretty much fail proof. Has the factory 6 lug rallye wheels with a set of BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires all with lots of tread left. Truck had a body off amateur resto about 10 years ago. It had new rockers, cab corners and fenders. The hood and the doors are original and do have some filler in them. (They are 36 years old) I always had it touched up when it needed it, this past fall I had the bottoms of the fenders, doors and corners stone guarded and painted, as well as the front of the hood as it had stone chips and some bubbling that I did not want to see spread. The only parts of the doors that have filler are the back corners and a little across the lower lip. They were still pretty solid. This is not a show truck, it is however a very clean presentable truck that is ready to use now. The paint was changed from blue to Yellow for visibility. Plowing on this road can be a nightmare. We are in the open where white outs are common. Inside of the cab is still original blue. We have done our best to keep the undercarriage painted in rustoleum over the years, which is why it is still in one piece. The seat was redone in Levi's denim but being that it is outside the sun did a number to it, which is why it has a cover on it now. The denim did not hold up to sun very well so as an FYI , yes it is bad under the cover. Carpets are in nice shape yet. Dash was covered in a coverlay years ago. Rear bed is awesome! One of the handiest I have ever used. Flatbed with stake sides. Has class III hitch built into the back bumper with 7 prong plug. Springs were swapped out for 3/4 ton springs so it can handle one heck of a load. Truck runs and drives very tight, straight and stops straight. The only issue worth mention is the throw out bearing makes noise from time to time. Has been like that as long as we owned the truck. Clutch is good, does not slip. Pics basically tell the story. Just a nice clean old truck. Would like to see it go to someone who would care for it the way we have and not see it put through the salt but to each their own I guess. She has been one heck of a reliable truck. Simple and inexpensive to fix, no complicated computers and electric fuel pumps to go inside a gas tank... no computer operated 4 wheel drive. The way trucks should be. Please review and agree to the Terms at the end of this listing before bidding. Thank you!
