Here is a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car.They made 6502 replicas, one for each dealership in the US in 1978. This particular corvette was apparently purchased from Casey Chevrolet in Newport News Va according to my research. This vehicle is in need of restoration including body work. This is a drivable project. The passanger side mirror is off the car, was like that when I purchased it. Mirror is included. This is a numbers matching car which is 90-95% original. Also included in this sale is various manuals including the original owners manual, GM service manual, mechanics manual, build manual, Haynes manual and the pace car electrical manual. New/Oem parts which have been replaced include: new front and rear brakes, new u-joints, new shocks, new water pump, rebuilt original starter, new tires and still has the orginial 8 track stereo. Still has the original spare tire too. Original build sticker should be on the top of the gas tank as the tank has never been dropped. Original build markings are visible on the chassis and fender. Also included are those original parts which were savable when replaced. I am the third owner of this vehicle and will be sorry to see it go.
