Hi, This is a running, driving Fiat 500l that I picked up at the Charleston Airforce Base. The previous owner had brought it over from Italy eight years ago. He sold it to me after his deployment to Afghanistan. I've tinkered with it and it runs as well as a twin cylinder car can run. I replaced all the brakes, from the master down to the wheel cylinders and rubber lines. I adjusted the valves, put a new head gasket and associated gaskets on it etc. It runs, shifts and drives straight. The paint is pretty nice on it- which makes me think it's been repainted at some point. There is some bubbling under the paint below the doors- on the sills, and there is a rust hole by the sunroof. The interior is nice and clean. The next thing I was going to address is the wiring. It's a mess and could use a new harness- which costs a whopping $150. There have been splices over the years- basically wrapped in electrical tape. Not a big deal because there are maybe five or six fuses total! Very simple car to work on and a lot of fun to drive.
