For sale is my 1965 Plymouth Barracuda Sport Coupe. 61,500 original miles straight out of a southern California time capsule. No rust, original glass is perfect, original interior near perfect, tiny tear in driver's seat, body is straight and solid no rust repair or panel replacement. Chassis is all original and rust free. Only one repaint a couple of years ago that I would call a mid-range (color, color sand, and clear approx. $3000 cost) that shows well. Has a few nicks and scuffs but it is way above average for a repaint and is a gorgeous "5 footer" for sure. The chrome is very nice except for the rear bumper which is in fair condition. Most of the brightwork (trim) is very, very nice. Tires are almost new. 273 V-8, 180 horsepower, floor shift 3 speed automatic. No power steering or brakes but does not need them due to its small size and light weight. Lots of fun and you wont look across an intersection and see another one, ever. Beautiful car with clean and clear California title. Runs and drives beautifully, nice and tight no rattles or squeaks and it is a pure joy to drive. Drives like a 2 year old 1965 Plymouth, not a 47 year old. Brake pedal is nice and solid and brakes work surprisingly well. Brand new 2-1/2" exhaust. Please see the two HD videos for all of the details it would take hours to type. All of the lights work. Even the cigarette lighter works. Only the horn does not work and my guess is that the contact just needs cleaning. I have added a picture of a car that belongs to a friend to show what these cars look like when they are hot rodded a bit. That is the red car in the last picture. Some people do not like the rather tame look of the car in stock condition and it is so rare to see this car at all that most people (especially those outside the vintage car community) have never seen one at all! Add a pair of airshocks and some 14 or 15" rims and these cars look pretty badass as you can see,,,, I have lots of high resolution photos of the car if requested. It's not easy to see but there is damage to the left front headlight bezel towards the grille side. Someone stepped on it when it was off during the repaint. For international buyers, I can deliver to the New Jersey, New York, or Boston area exporter of your choice for international destinations for an additional $1500. YOU have to hire the exporter, I will merely Personally get the car to them and take videos and photos at drop off for your protection. CASH or WIRE TRANSFER only. Other methods are okay but nothing moves until payment is clear (includes paperwork). Car does not leave my property until it is fully paid for. Car is sold as-is with no warranty. This is an un-restored 47 year old car so a buyer should expect to inspect the car regularly and go beyond routine maintenance. <
