I am relisting this car due to a non paying-responding ebay member. Please do not bid on this item unless you are ready and able to buy it. If your score is too low you will need to contact me first before bidding or it will be eliminated. This car is priced right and rides down the hight way at 70 without any problems. Just drove 70 miles today (11-18) to car show and no problems. Fly in Drive home! I'm selling a 1966 Ford Thunderbird with original engine and transmission. True Arizona Car with little to no rust and it shows. Just replaced the pan gasket, rear main, and other misc. gaskets to stop any oil leaks. Also just replaced the old leaky power steering pump with a brand new one so it steers clean and with no leaks. The rear axle seals, rear drum brakes, and wheel cylinders are all new. Front disc brakes are new as well. New altenator, starter, battery, hoses, belts, wires, plugs, coil, and almost everything needing attention has been gone through. Rebuilt carburetor and BRAND New $600 white wall tires to keep vehicle originality intact. The front rag joint was just replaced so steering is tight. A lot of items addressed to make car drive and run safely and reliable were taken care of. The car is not perfect but very solid and fun. Car came from the factory with several desirable options such as AC(is complete and on the car but has a leak in hose so loses some freon), PS, Disc Brakes on the front, a VERY cool slide away steering column, and the best option yet a 428 big block. This is the highest optioned engine available for this car and is in great shape and very rare. Engine runs smooth and cool, doesn't smoke or blow oil. Take it home and drive it anywhere. This car is already reliable and fun, it just needs a few cosmetics done and other small repairs (drivers window switch). The paint is not flaked off from the az sun but it is not perfect with small scratches in different areas of the car but it looks very nice. They aren't noticeable from 10 feet but once you get close you can see them. Paint is still good enough to never need a respray and I have driven it the way it looks because it looks good for the cruiser that I wanted. Seats could also be redone only because the foam has flattened on the bottom part only. Fix minor items and it is a fantastic car that would be worth much more then the low reserve amount. This really is a nice cruiser and if you are in the market for a t-bird this is a must see. The reserve is very low and I want to sell and I have the right to end auction for a local buyer because I am now advertising this vehicle local. Bid to win because I want to sell.
