Please read the entire description. This is a beautiful Packard. It is not Pebble beach or anything like that level but it is a very very nice car with a interesting history. Trying our best to describe eveything about the car honestly and with all we know. History:This is all to the best of our knowledge. This Packard was made in Detroit Michigan and spent most its life in Detroit. The Packard was originally purchased by a Packard body Designer James Komer. He went on to work at General Motors after Packard. The car was then shipped to Phoenix Arizona in the late 80s from Detroit Michigan during his retirement. The car has been in Arizona since. There is actually a Warren, Mi GM Tech Center Car Show pass hanging from the rear view mirror. It was moved to a storage unit where it's ownership was given to the storage unit owner by the family in return for years of unpaid storage costs after the owner had passed away. Officially the car has never been sold since it was new. Its ownership was transferred to the current owner and aquired it due to moneys owed. The current owner is the second owner as known. He has only kept the car in dry clean storage and had the new Coker tires put on it. It is otherwise known to be 100% stock and original car. Body/Interior Condition:The Packard has had Coker Classic white walls installed. The interior looks nearly new and show little if any wear at all. The odometer reading is known to be actual. The car looks to be re-painted some time ago, I would suspect 30 years ago in the 70s maybe. There is some paint shrinkage in the areas round the fenders and other areas. The worst spot is the in front of the passenger side rear wheel flare. The backsides of the fenders appear to be solid metal as does the entire undercarriage. If there is any filler in the body I would suspect it was only to make the rolling fenders look so perfect as they do. The front grill and bumper and body chrome is in very good shape but the grill does show some pits in the inner cast surfaces. The engine looks as new as the outside or the inside. Although not shown the original air filter is here and still has the factory stickers on it. Running/Driving Condition:The car starts up and runs very well. We have not driven the car since removing it from storage but through thorough inspection can see that nearly every component of the suspension is in new looking condition. It believe it is safe to assume the car drives and shifts near perfectly as it looks. The interior is like a new car and everything appears to be in working order. We do have to get a new battery as the one in it although looking perfectly new is not seeming to old a 6V charge. This will all be resolved and any other less than correct points prior to sale or negotiated from the final auction price.
