2001 Chevy Silverado LT 1500 4x4. EXT cab 4 door. 5.3L V8. 215k miles. Automatic. 4x4. Leather Heated Seats, CD Player, Cruise. Nice heavy duty Bradford Built flat bed. Paid $2500 3 years ago for it. Has a compartment in the middle that flips up for a Goosneck hitch, we never used the gooseneck hitch, just the standard 2 inch receiver on back. Sno Bear Snow plow. Power up and down, manual angle. The Good. Overal this truck has been very depenable with no major problems. Front wheel bearings and fuel pump replaced about 3 years ago. Fuel injectors, front and rear brake pads replaced this year. Very nice truck for hauling, we added an extra leaf to the rear springs to beef up the towing capacity. Sno Bear plow is light duty but worked well for our personal driveway. 4x4 works great. Truck doesnt smoke or make any abnormal noise. Goes straight down the road. The Issues. ABS light has been on for about 4 years never bothered us. Check engine light is on, last time we checked it was an o2 sensor. Truck has a flowmaster muffler but no tailpipe, not sure if that can throw it off. Exhaust is not extremly loud, just a nice low tone. Damage to the right rear passengers corner. All the doors still open. We have a cab corner section and door for the truck but never got around to replacing it. Rear seat is gone out of the truck, we used the back section for storage. Rockers are rusty. Drivers seat bottom is ripped. Tires are fair. This was our main work truck for the past 5 years. Please remember the mileage and age of the truck. Feel free to inspect the truck as we have it for sale locally. This truck is great for hauling and plowing because of the short wheel base. I hate to see it go but we have two newer work trucks and it doesnt make sense to keep licensing and insuring something that is not needed.
