On Nov-06-12 at 14:20:21 PST, seller added the following information: This is a 1977 Vdub bus /van that is in remarkable condition for its age. Outside it is white. There are some minor rust spots around the outside that have been somewhat addressed by previous owners and a very few little blisters starting to show that could be fixed easily. The battery compartment has the most rust but at this time the battery is still located securely. It will however need a bit of creative repair and welding in the near future. A few minor door dings but all in all a very straight body. All the glass is intact and the tires on all 4 corners have lots of good rubber left. There is an after market roof rack fitted. Inside, The front seats and cockpit area are in great shape, everything works electrically. There is no kitchenette but aft of the sliding door there is a split bench seat raising to a rock and roll bed level with the top of the engine compartment. There currently is a cargo net above the engine compartment for additional light storage. All windows aft of the cockpit have curtains. The bus runs great, starts and stops in a straight line and is very comfortable going down the road. A pal of mine just took the bus down and up the west coast driving nearly 4000 mi and only had to replace the points. The little phenolic cam rised on the contact arm fell off and ...... silence. Never in all my years have I heard of that issue.
