If you are looking for a unique super clean eye catching Fox Body here it is! Yes I know I put the tires on backwards. I have since fixed it. Please don't email me to tell me they are on wrong. 1985 Mercury Capri 5.0 RS dressed in fresh Jalapena Red and Satin Black. This car is extremely straight, solid, and rust free. The car was repainted the original Jalapena Red and complimented with Satin Black. The Satin black looks more menacing than the original grey that was on the lower half of the car originally. The wheels are 10th Anniversary Cobra 17x9 255 40 17 up front and 17x10 275 45 17 ZR out back. This wheel and tire combo gives the Capri a VERY aggressive stance that sets it apart from most Foxs on the road. The engine is a stock 5.0 with 108k on the odometer. The engine does not leak or smoke. The brakes work like they should and do not squeak. The car drives extremely tight and rattle free. The rear end has been swapped out for a 3.73 posi. You really would think that it is only a 50,000 mile car when you drive it. The AC has been converted and blows ICE ICE cold. The heater will roast you as well. The previous owner took extremely good care of this vehicle. The interior in very, very nice shape. It has a great headliner and carpet. The biggest problem with the interior is the dash pad. It is cracked. That is the only thing it needs inside to make it primo. Keep in mind that this is a 27 year old car. I'm sure there are things that are not absolutely perfect. The car was not sealed in a vault, it has been driven. I will tell you this...this is the perfect car to get in drive anywhere and turn tons of heads. I can't go anywhere without people wanting to talk about it. Please ask all questions before bidding. I encourage you to come look, inspect, and drive the car in person or hire a professional inspector. If you win the car for X amount of dollars, you can't come and offer Y amount of dollars.
