1966 Other Makes Greeves Challenger

Original example of a historic vintage motocosser. If you know your MX history the Greeves challenger shocked the big name 4 stroke factories in the mid sixties. This set the tone for further domination from other 2 strokes to followlike CZ and Husky. This Greeves has a 1965 serial number but original owner told me he bought it as a 1966 model. It does have the 66 updated forks and front fender mount seen on th 66 models. So I think this is probably a late 1965 model or early 1966. This Greeves will require a full restore , but it is mostly all there including the Dunlop tires (tyres using Brit talk). Since I have owned this greeves I have never tried to start it but the top end is not stuck. There is an extra tank that goes with it. Although the listing has "clear title" there will only be a bill of sale as there was not a title issued for this race bike, I also had to add a mileage but that is unkown. Sells to USA only, no out of country bidding will be accepted. (Sorry been burned there) Deposit of $200 is due within 48 hours of auction end and the remaining is due within 7 days. Pickup shipping/transport is the responsibility of the auction winner. I will be out of town 11 November thru 21 Novemeber but will galdly store the bike till then.
