1997 Hummer H1 Wagon This rare and beautiful H1 has only 55k 1-owner miles. It was purchased new by former NBC Sports Chairman and co-founder of Saturday Night Live, Dick Ebersol and his wife,actress Susan St. James for use at there Telluride, CO ski home and also used at his Cape Cod summer home. It currently has newer 22" custom wheels with very little tire wear (CTIS system operational, but disabled). The original CTIS wheels and tires are also included. Also included are two rare and original optional jumpseats. This Hummer runs and drives great. There are no obvious mechanical defects and it looks great for its age. It is also equipped with a remote starter and alarm system. The 12,000# winch is original to the vehicle. I own a car dealership and have used the hummer very little since I purchased it. I enjoy having unique vehicles for a few years then passing them on to other car lovers! I just don't drive it enough to justify storing it. If you do not want to be noticed this is NOT the vehicle for you! It turns heads wherever you go and is sure to increase in value, as H1's had very limited production for the civilian model. 11/5- I added a pic of a CTIS Wheel(5),stainless cover(4), and rear tire cover. I do have the spare tire carrier also. I have also had many questions about condition. There are a few scratches and paint blisters here and there. Also some clearcoat peeling on the fiberglass hood. It is NOT showroom condition and priced accordingly. With that said, everyone who sees it still cannot believe it is a 15 year old vehicle.Other questions are about the engine block. It has never required any antifreeze in the two+ years I have driven it. The level has never changed. Upon cold start up it blows a little smoke for a few seconds as any older diesel does. I have started it in sub zero temps with no problem. 11/5- I was informed by an H1 enthusiast and nice fellow Ebayer that the H1 is actually a 1997.5 Model. There are considerable improvements over the regular 1997 model. This vehicle is being sold AS IS and where is. This H1 is 100% roadworthy and can be driven anywhere.
