This is a superb example of a 1978 280 z 2+2 Cosmetically -The car has been in California since new and is 100% Rust and dent free -Body, chassis and frame are A+++ -The paint is lustrous and looks great! -Minimal nicks, chips and dings -Nice original chrome with some slight pitting on bumpers Mechanically: -The working odometer is showing 47,118, which has most like turned over once before. -The car starts at the turn of the key with no hesitation. Great compression on all cylinders. -Runs extremely well -No leaks, smoke, overheating, or issues -The engine sounds very healthy and idles smoothly -The acceleration is A+ and she pulls like a train -Clutch A+ -She shifts easily in and out of gear -The brakes, steering and suspension are tip top -The entire drive train is solid and tight and the car is a pleasure to drive -There are no rattles, squeaks or strange noises -All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems operate just like they should. The air conditioning blows strong cold air. All interior and exterior lights work (including the map light). -All gages work and show normal readings. -Come with both front and rear original "blue and yellow" license plates that were issued with the car when new and verify it's California heritage. Interior: -The interior is very clean showing minimal wear. The seats are excellent with no tears anywhere whatsoever. -Nice carpeting, headliner and door panels. The drivers door panel has one small imperfection on top where your elbow would rest. -The console is crisp and clean. The nicely fitted dash cover looks great! Underneath there are some cracks. Nice leather wrapped steering wheel. This is not a show car, but rather a very clean and respectable looking driver quality Z. She runs and looks great! Very impressive and doesn't look anywhere close to it's age. The car has been very well taken care of since new. We hope the next owner/operator will appreciate it as much as we do.
