Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a true classic: a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. We took this car in on trade on an RV from an older couple. The previous owner who we took it in from, I believe, was the second owner who purchased it in1999. It was always garage kept and hardly ever driven. We ran a vehicle history report provided by AUTOCHECK which shows that this vehicle has had 0 accidents. It looks to be true that the 82,969 is the actual mileage. This camaro is not a show piece because of some cosmetic imperfections. However, it is a very staight, solid car. With a little cosmetic body work you would have a gorgeous Camaro. I have provided a few pictures of the cosmetic flaws that I have noticed. Mechanically the car runs and drives great and could be used as a daily driver today. The temp gauge is inoperable but our mechanic confirmed that engine is running at proper operating temperature. It is equipped with a 5.0L tuned port injection V8 with the Z28 package. This is not a clone. Other factory-equipped options include t-tops, alloy spoke wheels, cd player, power seats, mirrors, windows and locks. This Camaro was truly a "barn find" as we extracted it from the older gentleman's outbuilding. He was so proud of this car and claims to have spent over $2,000.00 just replacing speakers, rubber weatherstripping, decals, and miscellaneous things like rear hatch pistons (all purchased from the local GM dealer....no aftermarket crap he said!). It took a half a day to just get it on our transport trailer because he had to tell us story after story about how many of these cars were made and what he had done to the car (twice!). These cars are not our specialty so we are selling it virtually how we took it in on trade and will let you do your own restoration as you see fit. Rather than have the panels painted and selling it like that we have decided to have the prospective buyer see it "as it was traded". We have a low reserve, so if you are interested....bid! We are going to sell it! The buyer is responsible for a $190.00 documentation fee. The buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and or transport. However, we can help you arrange the transportation. A $500 non- refundable deposit is due within 24 hours after the the auction has been completed. Vehicle is sold as - is no warranty expressed or implied.
