Vehicle Detail

Selling a 2001 Volvo V70 T5 (2.3L I5 hi pressure turbo). THE GOOD: The car black paint shines well, interior is leather (plush, best seats ever), lots of bells and whistles and all in immaculate shape. Timing belt changed at 99k, everything is in great shape and working order. THE BAD: I just crashed it on a rainy day and do not have collision on my insurance policy. The autobody shop said the cost would be beyond my cost into the car, so im selling it here. But my honest opinion is that they dont want to deal with it. See pics, I hit a telephone post on the passenger side door. Frame may be bent, so car is probably not worth it as a whole. Damn shame :('''' Car is basically a parts car. Premium parts car. T5 engine produces ~245hp, ~245lb torque stock, with the ability to cheaply chip it to ~330hp, ~340lb torque (<$1000) http://www.eurosporttuning.ca/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=EST02&Category_Code=VL-S70-en-kit-t5. Engine is swappable between V70s/S70s 2001-2004. Tranny in good shape, all leather seating (automatic/memory) is in premium shape, no tears, no weathering...pretty perfect throughout the car. Mileage is 130,140. So...everything electric works. Other than the door being smashed up and the windshield broken on the passenger side, everything looks good. Door hinges do not look damaged, but the door will not close. I priced out a new door @ $390. All the electronics in the door are fine and in working order. Please note the damage to the frame on the 'A' pillar and rocker panel. I didnt want to start car until a mechanic has had a chance to look at. If anyone would like to get an assessment of the mechanical and structural damange, feel free to call Dr. Ralph's Automotive @ (215) 482-9646. Cost is $70/hr. They said they could access it in an hour. NEW NEWS!!! Dr Ralph has assessed the mechanical damage. Car needs a new lower motor mount and oil pan, otherwise mechanically sound. So in order to be road worthy the car needs: - lower motor mount - oil pan - body work ---> passanger side rocker, passenger side 'A' pillar, windshield, new passanger door. HINT: Auto auction has already offered $1500.
