What a nice looking wagon . Its a 57 Rambler Cross Country ,looks to be fairly original, paint is getting thin on a number of places ,although no serious rust out places. I traded for this fine wagon awhile back i did a few repairs as in a new fuel pump,water pump,and had the brake master rebuilt. Whats really neat about this car is its got factory air conditioning,didnt even know rambler had that option ,its got to be real rare. Also its got power brakes,with a 6 cylinder with overdrive,i have not driven it much other than around my shop area. One pic is of an emblem on each door stating the air option they must have been real proud of it. Its got a new headliner and new carpets,all the seats and door panels material are original with one tear in the drivers bottom . I have no inside room this winter dont really want it sitting out in the elements , so am ging to try to find it a home . When i traded for it did not get a title still dont have a title so it will come with a bill of sale only there are title companies where you can secure one.The story i was told was it came from an old farmer in eastern oregon state . This wagon is extremly original , it will be a great semi project for a rambler guy, the air parts are complete even the air pump wheel where the belt goes is not stuck .,which is unusual. I got it running starts quick runs pretty good although it does smoke,also needs some exhust work, but its got a lot of neat features. Here are a few numbers that came from the trim tag body 36203 model 5618 2 paint 87 72 72 trim 714 This wagon will make someone a cool ride with a little fixing up also i did notice a few repair panels on the floors so no it was not a totally rust free car i noticed a 59 wagon like this sold recently on ebay for 12k and i know this is not as nice but is priced fairly and of course that one didnt have ac please bid if you want it any other questions call steve 1 208 376 0701 or email will also need both drivers and pass windows replaced and pass front park lens remember only a bill of sale no title thanks All the chrome on the wagon is in very nice condition for the age.
