Vehicle Detail

I’ve got a great truck up for auction. It’s a 1997 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Short Bed, with a 7.3l Powerstroke Diesel and it’s a 4x4! It’s probably one of the rarest of the type, and it runs and drives great. Please take a look at the pictures, so you can get a great idea of what you’ll be getting into. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via email. It’s got the famous 7.3l Powerstroke Diesel in it that runs like a top. The 4x4 works without issues, the hubs in front have been replaced with reliable lock-outs instead of the auto hubs Ford used. It has cold blowing Air Conditioning. It has a new set of BF Goodrich All terrain TA tires on it. They are size 285P75/16. The bummer in the motor department is the check engine light turns on intermittently. The engine codes that come up when it is on are P1395 & P1396 , Glow plug monitor fault. When I google these codes I find this is common without any good reasoning or effecting how the truck runs. I encourage you to google these codes yourself. The exterior of the truck is in great shape for a 97! Unfortunately there is the dent/crease in the very rear bed panel on the passenger side from a jack knifed boat trailer incident (see photo). Other than that the paint is clean, with very few scratches that are to be expected from a truck of this age. There is no cancer rust on the body that I can find. There is also a rock chip in the windshield. This also has the helper overload springs and cab/over camper supports/tie down attach points for a cab over camper. The interior is probably one of the cleanest I’ve seen on one of these trucks. It’s got the power lumbar in the seats as well. They are not broken down like most of them, so someone definitely took care of it. The carpet is in good shape as well. The air conditioning blows cold . It has all of the power options you could possibly ask for on one of these like cruise control, power windows, power door locks, and keyless entry and stock Ford alarm. I only have one remote. The bummers ... The rear power door locks are sometimes intermittent. The front seats have some pulled apart threading and where the driver rests his arm on the center console there is a bad wear spot (see photos). The dash unfortunately also has some cracks on the passenger side with one crack having been poorly repaired. All in all, it’s a great old truck that needs a new home. It is very clean, and it is a VERY hard to find a Crew Cab short bed anywhere. Please check my feedback, I’ve been selling on eBay for a long time. I have tried to describe this truck to the best of my ability because I don’t like surprises and I know you don’t like them either! Please keep in mind that this truck is a 1997 and not a 2007, I promise you that it isn’t new...but it is a GOOD old truck that is ready for a new owner. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. Sorry, I do NOT want to trade and I don’t finance. Thanks and happy bidding!
