NUMBERS MATCH. Honduras maroon NOS oem paint, hard top only, no accidents, 4 speed, 327ci RE motor 340-hp, 4:11 posi, headers, high rise manifold, 4 barrel carb. Recent clutch, brakes, carburetor rebuild, generator rebuild, plugs, wires, points, cap rotor, oil, coolant, battery. Starts right up, drives like it should with no clunks, shimmy or surprises. Does not smoke, tight steering, great brakes. 15" high end alloys, but not original. Scoop is not original. Chrome and bumpers are in very good shape. Gauges all work, including odometer. The records do not suggest a discrepancy in the milage, these are original miles. Flaws: The 10 year old paint is un-faded, but has many small paint chips and flaws. I have included 9 pictures of the area of the subframe that was modified for an aftermarket exhaust. This was done over 20,000 miles ago. There is a well done crack repair on the top passengers hood/body seam area. The passengers window does not roll down correctly. The Wonderbar radio is in the trunk and I doubt it works. The hood cables are hard to release, but are functional. Needs tires and an antenna. Black interior redone at some time, but showing wear. This car has been stored a long time and the rubber weather stripping and seals are shot. I have one original California black and yellow plate and owners manual. Very sound mechanically. Last year of this body style. Great investment. Lovely to look at, fun to drive. Yes, the sub frame cross braces have been cut. There are 9 photos of this in the add. Yes, it drives well, very well. It drives like it should with no strange noises, vibrations or clunks. It is safe to drive and could be driven out of state if the tires are replaced. The clutch is excellent and the gears do not grind or pop out. The brakes do not leak, and there are no oil leaks or transmission leaks based on one month in the driveway and 4-5 test drives. Yes there is a faint smell of gas, but I almost like it with this car. The plexiglass is clear and undamaged. It does not have the large gas tank It does not have any of the hardware for the soft top. The spare tire is the original steel, I do not have the other 4 original wheels This car was first sold in Sacramento, CA and has the original plate frames, but only one original plate. The rear frame braces can be repaired. I got a $700 estimate to weld in steel, grind seams and paint.
