Now onward...This 1984 Chevy Corvette epitomizes the muscle body sports car, then and now. This glass targa top coupe features an 8 cyclinder engine and an automatic transmission. Power windows, power locks and mirrors round out this vette. I purchased this vette to do a complete restoration and update it with a 2000 body kit, but having too little time and money, it's for sale. My loss is your gain!This vette does indeed run and drive, though it's only been driven up and down the block a few times and up into my garage since purchase, as the tire needs to be replaced and the car needs work. Car has been started fairly regularly to keep battery charged, but no guarantee on battery life either. Interior and exterior are what they are, as evidenced in the pictures but the car is complete. Mileage is unknown, as the display doesn't work. Again, this car was purchased for restoration and is an ideal candidate for that or can use as a donor or part out and clean up!.The paint is in good condition for its age and a good wax/detailing would definitely help to restore its vitality.Car is currently under the Non Op status, so there are no deliquent back fees or penalties and DMV fee calculator states it will be approximately $148+ smog to register the vehicle in the state of California.Pictures tell the story, but any other questions I've neglected to answer, please ask BEFORE you bid, as this is an AS-IS sale and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The BIN price for the car before bids were placed was $1,475. Should I receive that offer price, I will end the auction early and selling to the winning bidder. This car needs restoration!!! YES, it starts up runs and drives, but IT NEEDS WORK! The windshield is cracked, the tires are old, the targa top is cracked, the moldings are old and cracked, the interior needs work, the exterior fiberglass has a few cracks in bumper and hood. THE CARD NEEDS WORK! Its a 28 year old car. If you think you're going to get in this vette and drive cross country with the top off, you're not. Given the tires, NON OP registration status and the fact that the car has been sitting, you will need to tow or trailer this car to its destination to be safe.
