The car runs and drives fine but, needs some "love" to be perfect... I always list the "GOODS and BADS" and will below but, first I need to explain a few things about the car: #1. The car has a RECONSTRUCTED "Flood title" - this is how we got the car, it was a trade-in at a Ford Dealership. #2. The convertible top does not work- I have no idea why and really don't care to even look at it. #3. All reconstructed cars are marked TMU for mileage (front of title says: Odometer reading 000001) So, the car has to be sold TMU. We have no idea when the car was reconstructed or how bad it was flooded, AGAIN- this is EXACTLY how we got the car. SO, if you want a cool looking convertible to play with and fix up a little, keep reading... we really don't have the time or interest in fixing it up. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. GOODS: * It's a good looking car really. * 3.0 motor runs VERY strong, no smoke, no noises. (engine alone is worth the starting price) * Steptronic transmission shifts fine and felt no issues. * Body is straight and paint looks decent. * 3/13 PA inspection & Emissions * 17" wheels w/ nice Bridgestones * VERY NICE convertible top (does not work but, canvas is very clean) * Heated seats * Drive the car home. BADS: * Convertible top does NOT work (we have the upper front cover, it was in the trunk when got it) * ABS, Traction and airbag lights are on- we did NOT even care to check it. * Front seats do not match each other (one is a sport and one is not) * Top may leak, car had some water on rear floor- we vac'd it out but, it hasn't rained since... * The hood appears to have been repainted at some point- (the paint is "cracking" near grills). * Its a little "clunky" in the front end when hitting bumps, may need shocks or end links. * Heater fan is not working, could be the fan resistor or blower- didn't check it. * Spare tire & jack are missing. * After doing 80 mph (see picture) I could smell a little hint of oil, possible valve cover gasket. AGAIN, we DID NOT look at the car at all other than drive it a few days. * I'm SURE I missed something but, feel free to come look at it or call us with questions.
