The car runs and drives but, it needs a little "love" to be perfect... I always list the "GOODS and BADS" and will below but, first I need to explain something about the car: The car takes about 1 mile to shift into 2nd gear when it's cold- then its fine the rest of the day- ALL gears shift fine after the 1 mile mark, the previous owner has been driving it for a year like that. I would not be afraid to drive the car home, I drove it today for 15 miles and it runs fine after the first mile when it's cold. So, I'm not sure if its the transmission or something else but, we don't really have the time or interest in fixing it. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. Here's a list of the "GOODS" & the "BADS". GOODS:* It's a good looking car and becoming very rare these days. * Good color combo, and it's a 2 door!!!* All VIN#'s match on all panels, No sign of a wreck. * Engine is strong, transmission shifts fine in every gear (after the 1-mile mark when its cold).* 3/13 PA inspection & Emissions* Orig 15" BBS wheels w/ nice rubber* VC (AWD) seems to work fine, no noises in TC. * Timing belt, water pump & tensioner recently (see sticker) * Alpine CD player & aftermarket keyless entry installed. * Heated seats* Clean PA title.* Drive the car home. BADS: * Transmission takes 1 mile to shift into 2nd when cold, then it's fine the rest of the day.* Speedometer bounces around and doesn't seem correct- odometer (miles) work fine.* Minimal rust at the bottoms of both front fenders.* Driver's seat has a tear- (see pic)* Passenger seat won't tilt forward.* Car appears to have been repainted- not a perfect a job but, not a Maaco job.* Valves sound like they could use an adjustment- not terrible but, worth mentioning.* Car rides a little rough, may need shocks.* Radio and Clock both stay on (you can shut the radio off but, clock stays lit so, we unplugged it as to not drain the battery) I'm SURE I missed something but, feel free to come look at it or call us with questions.
