Vehicle Detail

Own a piece of East Coast hot rodding history and nostalgia with this 32 Ford five window coupe. Stored away since 1971 (PA inspection stickers to prove). This is an ALL STEEL, UNCHOPPED, HENRY FORD body. Originally built in 1958 by a member of the well known Philadelphia Modifiers Club. I was able to track down the original owner who verified the car, and its history. The story goes he built the car when he was only 20 years old with a Chrysler Hemi backed up by a LaSalle transmission. Unfortunately the Hemi expired during burnouts when he took it to the drags in Indy. When he got the car back to PA, he exchanged the Hemi for a 440 and an automatic. I do have a Hemi that can go with the car for an additional $300 (see pictures) but don't know any history about it, but do know it's not a complete engine. The front end has lots of custom chrome from 1958 that can be seen in the pictures. The rear is a Dana. The rust on the car is limited to the bottom of the fenders where they meet the running boards. The body is solid with a steel floor from the seat to the back of the car, then the original plywood from 1958 forward to the firewall. So much more to tell, so please feel free to call Mike @ 267-688-0141 I reserve the right to end this auction early as this car is for sale locally.
