Vehicle Detail

This here is a Corvette with alot of potential. I bought this a few months ago with the idea of overhaul. I did manage to get some work done but realize there isn't enough time in my life for this project. My loss your gain. The car did have a misfire and after changing ignition wires (looked original) and spark plugs (also looked original) and the cap and rotor (which was the real misfire problem) the car is once again alive. The person that sold me the car mentioned the car sat for a while. After doing some repairs on the car I do see signs that the car did sit. I have to be honest the car does have high miles but really doesn't need that much work. There is warning lights on the dash such as ABS, SRS and Engine. The vette did have some after market sterio and was told that is what caused the lights to come on. I hooked it up to my scanner and found no ABS Codes and SRS. The check engine light is on because I disconnected the colling temp sensor. The fans did go back on themselves after I changed some fuses but after changing the cap and rotor they wont go on again. I suspect the plug is bad because if I wiggle the wire the fans go back on. So with the switch disconnected the fans always run and keep the car cool. There is some pain thipping off the drivers quarter and you will see that in one of the pics. The radio is out because I was told if I hooked up all the factory speakers and radio the warning lights will go off. The car does really drive smooth down the road and the steering will doesnt shake or tilt. If you are looking for a project or you need parts for another vette this car is for you. For the money it isnt a bad buy considering these cars were pretty pricey brand new. I still been driving the car around as I am ready to sell so the miles may be a bit higher then listed. It does have a painted roof too which also will need a paint job because the paint has cracked. I listed everything I know of about car and hope this all helps. You wont be dissapointed if you buy this car. Good luck and happy bidding. AUCTION IS NO RESERVE SO IT WILL GO TO HIGHEST BIDDER
