Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1981 Suzuki GS 750L. It has 21,945 miles. I was really lucky when I found this motorcycle. I picked it up about 100 miles away, loaded it up in the dark and brought it home. I put in a new battery, turned the key on and all of the electrical worked perfectly. I put some fuel in the carbs and it started right up without any hesitation. I purchased this bike as a cafe project, but do not have the time to through it like I want to. It is a really solid foundation for a build. Everything is there. The bike does run and drive, but needs to be gone through before being road worthy again. I installed a brand new battery when I bought the motorcycle. Also, the motorcycle will come with the four carb kits, to COMPLETELY rebuild the carburetors. I paid $99.99 for the carb rebuild kit alone. Like I said, I wanted to do the rebuild correctly without sparing expenses, but I simply do not have the time any more. Parts are incredibly cheap for these bikes, especially on eBay. You can find anything you need very easily, and your wallet won't take as hard of a hit either. As you can see from the pictures, there are some things that need to be addressed:First is the Gas Tank. There is a dent on each side, it appears that somebody has put them in purposely. I wanted a different style of gas tank, so it didn't bother me.The seat also needs to be recovered if you plan on reusing it. It is not in that bad of shape, but sitting in a garage all summer was not good on the stitching. The only other thing that needs to be fixed is the brake fluid reservoir located on the handle bar. It is weathered badly and will need to be replaced. The gentleman I purchased this bike from installed a new exhaust and it sounds really good. There is a complete spare ignition with a new key that will come with the bike. The ignition that is in it now works fine, but does not have a key with it. The air box is not pictured, but is in perfect shape and does come with it. I do not have a title for the motorcycle, but it will come with a notarized bill of sale. It is fairly easy to get a title, I just haven't taken the time to do it. I can help arrange shipping for this bike for pretty cheap. We recently shipped a four wheeler from Oklahoma to California for $77. The company I work for gets really good rates. All you will need is a loading dock. Thanks for looking. Good Luck!
