Up for auction is a Vintage 1976 Honda Elsinore MR250 E Made in Japan Recently restored with less than 5 hours of riding time. Non matching VIN frame to engine. Frame Model 8/75 This bike was purchased along side our CR250 racer which sold last month. Originally purchased as a parts bike for the CR, it turned out that this Elsinore had a brand new 250 engine mounted on it. There was no spark, but the motor had factory oil and it look like it was factory fired and never used again. (check the pictures, the motor still had shelf numbers painted on the back). After getting a new coil and cleaning the carb, points, and the air box, we got the engine to fire. Essentially what you are getting here is a custom 1976 vintage dirt bike with a brand new off the line 1976 Honda MR250 E engine. The bike is mostly original except for the gas tank (no rust inside, no dents on the outside, few minor paint scratches) which was pulled off of '75 Elsinore MT250. The wheels have been rubber coated, the tires are almost brand new, the seat is original and in great condition and the muffler has no dents what so ever. This is a great performing, one of a kind bike that's bound to turn heads. Get it while you can! Please feel free to ask us any questions you might have.
