1979 Honda XR185. The pictures pretty much say it all. It runs and is in serviceable condition. Just looking for a good home and some TLC. Specifics: The engine has good compression and runs well, some roughness at the top end. The grips are worn / ready for replacement. The speedometer works. The clutch works smoothly. The brake lever sticks a little bit when released: you may want to replace the cable but we used it with no issues. The gear sifter is slightly bent. The muffler (supertrapp) and head pipe are in good condition. This has a 80s Supertra gas tank has no rust in it, but has dents and the cap is slightly rusted. The rims and spokes look good, although there was some rust on the spokes which was repaired. The chain guards are both there as is the chain tensioner. O ring chain and sprockets look good. The chain / The side plates are both there and the right had side cover has been repaired. Left hand side has been painted. Seat is in excellent condition but the bolt is broken for the seat bracket underneath. Kill switch plastic housing cracked but has been repaired and functions. Could use new tires, some chunks missing but they work. Tool bag is there - zipper ripped one button on bag not working other one missing. I do not know the mileage of the bike and it does not have a true title. I am selling locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early.
