UP FOR SALE IS A 1998 SILVER MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE GS. GREAT PROJECT CAR!!! The engine seized due to an oil leak that drained oil out of the motor. Car currently shows odometer at 150,xxx miles however, the engine was replaced and it currently has about 120,xxx miles on it. The car (engine) does not currently run/turn over. The car is sold AS IS. Which means, you pick it up and you tow it (unless we come up with a shipping agreement). The car is located in Princeton NJ. The car has huge investment potential for a person that is interested in parting out the car, that would have the space to do so. Alternatively you can replace the engine in the car and have a fully working eclipse or do an engine swap for a turbo 4g63 The car has never seen abuse such as Turbos, Intakes, Nitrous, or anything. It was adult driven, never raced. Everything works on the car as it should, except the following: Passenger side window does not go down, it needs to either be re-wired or solenoid changed. The transmission shifts good, and there is long life left on the clutch. The tires still at at least 50% thread, see pics, rotors new! just been sitting out. Wheels good. Electrical, radio, stereo, cd-player with AUX runs good. Trunk latch needs to be adjusted, trunk opens, although you have to fiddle with the key to open it up. Body is in good shape, a very thin line of rust barely noticeable on top of the windshield and on the bottom of the driver door. The speakers need to be re-wired as only the back speakers work ( an hr job that you could do on a sunday afternoon) I just haven't had the time to mess with it. Other than that the body looks good.
