First, the bad stuff. THE ENGINE DOES NOT RUN. 3,000 miles after a professional oil change, all the oil was gone and the engine sustained serious damage. It cranks, but makes horrible noises that lead me to suspect a thrown rod. The engine may be damaged beyond repair. If you have a rust bucket with a good engine, this car is for you. It's in excellent condition inside and out, having only a few scrapes on the bumpers. See pictures; I took a closeup of the worst, the front left. Do a quick engine transplant and you're in business. Just bear in mind that engine transplants go much better if the donor and recipient car have the same engine. This one is the 1.9 liter inline 4 cylinder Twincam, dual overhead cams and 4 valves per cylinder. This is a one- owner car which belonged to my now-deceased parents. It spent its whole life in the high desert of West Texas and was always garaged. It has never been in salt and has no rust. It has always been professionally maintained, never crashed, and ran perfectly right up until it conked out for want of oil. Has current Texas license plates and a clear title. The starter is new, and the battery is just over a year old. Air conditioning works perfectly, as do all the power accessories - windows, door locks, side mirror, cruise control. Please bear in mind the car can not be driven. Don't think you're going to be able to wave a magic wand and start this car. You can tow it, dolly it, trailer or flatbed it, but you can not drive it.
