baltimorehardcore Store Sorry, we had this listed once but realized there was an error in the listing so we ended it and fixed it and here it is again. We are listing this for a friend so we will try to describe it as best we can. This is the start of one BAD Hot Rod. What we have here is a 1950 Mercury sitting on a late 80s Ford Crown Vic Chassis. This still has all the crown Vic suspension. This is ready for a ford motor and trans. A 302 and overdrive transmission will bolt right in. Sorry not a Ford guy so not exactly sure what other motors are comperable, but it wouldnt be hard to put just about anything in this. Not really sure where to start on the body. The top has been chopped, (not sure how much it was lowered), door handles have been shaved, it has the visor molded into the front, to give it a smooth look. THe hood has been louvered and from the pics you can see its a tilt front. You can see where they put a vent in the front of the rear fenders, very subtle but done so clean. This thing just flows smooth from front to back. The rear floor was cut out so that a fuel cell / gas tank could be mounted. The interior is pretty much gutted and is ready to be done. There are a few parts that come with the car, but for the most part what you see in the pics is exactly what you get. I know the back window is included. I believe the owner has the headlight buckets and maybe a few other parts. I know the bumpers and grill are not there. The car will need to be wired to the lucky new owners specifiactions, as all the factory wiring has all been removed. All in all this is a great start to an AWESOME Merc. THis is no back yard hack job, this was done right. THe only reason it is up for sale is the owner has way to many projects and needs the room in his garage. This is not the first hot rod that the owner has built, as a matter of fact if you would like to see one of his bad ass finished projects just google Pat McNeal Rat Rod and you will see his cab over rat rod that is just mind blowing. I only say this so that you get a good idea of the quality and time that has been put into this merc. No drive train, so this will obviously need to be towed, unless you feel like pushing it. SHIPPING This is pick up only, unless the buyer sets up shipping. We can help load it at time of pick up. The jeep can sit at our shop for 2 weeks after auction end. We will work with you on this. We just dont want this sitting at our shop for months like I said we will work with you. RETURNS If returning an item you must contact me within 7 days of recieving the item, and let me know you are returning it. I must receive the item with in 14 days of you receiving it. You will receive a full refund the day I receive the item. I only refund shipping when there was an error on my part. If you purchased the wrong item, you will be refunded the purchase price only.
