Vehicle Detail
I am the second owner of this very clean, low mileage Corvette. The car has always been garage kept, and everything works. I have all service records for the last nine years, including documented mileage of 18 MPG (23+ highway). The glass top is only two years old, and the tires are two years old with 7,000 miles. Inspected May 2012. The 6 speed stick shift is very fun to drive. For collectors, the only add-ons are chrome exhaust tips and a chrome license plate frame. The rest of the car is all original or OEM replacement parts. The Carfax report does list an accident prior to my ownership, but there was no body damage. Someone bumped the car from behind in stopped traffic (gawking at another accident), and it was added to the police report since they were already on the scene. Black scuff marks from the other car's bumper were buffed out. i know the original owner, and he will discuss any concerns with the buyer. The car has no dents, and only a few minor scratches or stone chips from normal driving. Asking price is $9,500, but the auction reserve is lower. Great opportunity to buy a great car for a great price! On Oct-16-12 at 19:47:14 PDT, seller added the following information: New photos added based on buyer requests: 1) weather stripping at top corner of both doors, 2) slight wear on driver seat from entering/exiting car, 3) odometer, 4) small chips on and near right front tire, 5) one inch scratch on middle bottom section of passenger door - only visible when viewing from below, by far the worst 'damage' to the car.
