Fist of all.......... Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. Thank you. This is a 1981 Jeep, not an 80. 3700 miles since complete rebuild. This Jeep has never been offroad. There isn't a speck of rust on this Jeep. Very original, not chopped up. At least two thirds of the miles on this are tow miles. This is the perfect Jeep New ones have so many problems because they are made so complicated. This is why the old ones were the best selling 4x4 in the entire world. They are meant to be simple. This is a simple old school jeep. The early Jeeps are the best. Anyone can work on this. It has the Iron Duke 4 cylinder. Indestructable!!!!! Plenty of power. Very dependable. If you're looking for a great little Jeep for the winter that will give you lots of trouble free miles, then this might be it. We pulled this behind our motorhome. Bought it from a NASCAR mechanic. He was the original owner. He towed it behind his motorhome. It was his pit car. Only 109k original miles. Most of those are tow miles. We bought it last may on Ebay. Sold the motorhome so now this goes. Engine is brand new rebuilt. Less than 4000 miles on it. It was bored to fit Chevy 350 pistons. New brakes and calipers New clutch. New battery. Runs great. Never been in four wheel drive. Has full NASCAR cage. Racing buckets Hardtop Bikini top CB radio Tires are like new. Light and gets great mpg. Spare mounted on back. No problems of any kind.
