Welcome to the New Studio Dionysus on eBay. 1962 Triumph TR4 Project Car - Extra Carbs and Wire Wheels Garaged and up on blocks for years and waiting to become your next project, we have up for bid a 1962 Triumph TR4 with 71,800 original miles on engine. I have owned this vehicle since 1970 with it last being on the road and registered in 1976. Since then, it has been housed in my garage/studio out of the elements waiting for the day (that never came) for me to restore it. Engine is all original and complete and turns over but I havent attempted to fire it up for a decade or two. As the pictures will show, the body has rust here and there but it is not a rust bucket. Some parts are in boxes but most of the car is the way it was when I parked it. It has a roof that has good metal, cloth should be replaced... includes original tonneau cover that is not too bad considering its age. Original wire wheels, glass in rollup windows complete and working, underside frame and floor boards solid, mahogany dash in nice shape, seats shows their age and please note - grill is not original. Car needs to be restored but overall condition makes it a real nice starting point. Included in the deal are an extra set of Webber Carburetors and 5 factory wire wheels. For local pickup only... we are in the Baseball Hall of Fame neighborhood so you could make a real vacation out of it. Located in Gilbertsville, NY - 20 minutes from Oneonta, NY and I88, halfway between Albany and Binghamton. Closest lodging in Oneonta or Cooperstown.
