1991 BMW 325i Convertible - E30 Body - Showroom Condition!! Up for sale is a BMW collector's dream. This is an extremely low-mileage example of the classic BMW E30 body style in excellent condition. The odometer currently reads 19,627 miles and this is absolutely correct and documented with all service records since the car was new. All of the original purchase paperwork from the original BMW dealer is also available. I purchased this vehicle from the first owner in April 2012 and performed the following work on the car: Timing belt replacementChange of all fluids and filtersThermostat replacement along with temperature sensorsBelt replacementNew driver's door lock mechanismReplacement of all power steering hoses (leaking)Replacement of intake boots and vent hoses (cracked)Replacement of spark plugsInspection II and valve adjustmentReplacement of convertible top linkage. Electric top is fully functionalReplacement of convertible top canvas. Genuine BMW parts used throughout and all work performed by BMW master technicians. All paint is original and in excellent condition. There is no history or evidence of prior bodywork nor is there any rust on the vehicle. The interior is nearly perfect with only light wear. No cracks in the dash, no holes in the seats, and no modifications whatsoever. Vehicle includes all original books, a complete set of keys (including the master key tag) and all service records since new. This sale is targeted at BMW aficionados who understand that such a low-mileage example of this car is extremely rare and that one in near-perfect condition that requires no work is almost unheard of. If you're a BMW nut and you're looking for a prime example of an E30 then you must look at this car. The car is worth the price! Sure, you could find one for half this amount, but it would have 10X the miles and probably need at least $10K worth of work to bring it up to this condition. As a note, I own a BMW repair facility and currently have the vehicle displayed in our showroom (hence the setting in the photos). We are not a dealer trying to pass this car off as a private sale. I'm a long-time BMW enthusiast who recognized a car that needed to be saved before it ended up in the wrong hands. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have. -------- Additional Information - 10/11/2012 Several people have requested photos of the car with the top up and I have added those. I have also added photos of some of the original belts removed from the car when it was serviced in April. Although I was mistaken and the timing belt does not have an easily decipherable date code please note that it is stamped "Made in W. Germany." As we all know West Germany ceased to exist in October 1990 and "Made in West Germany" was quickly removed from products as the nation unified. Also shown are the three drive belts which are clearly stamped with production dates in late 1990 and early 1991. Please note that the production date of the car was Febrary 1991. Although all 4 belts show age they do not show significant wear. There is simply no way that these rubber parts would still be serviceable 21 years later unless the vehicle was rarely driven. I fully stand by the mileage on the odometer as being absolutely correct. Have doubts? You're welcome to come see the car in person (or send a representative on your behalf).
