Up for sale is a great 1997 Chevy s10 Blazer. Owned sense Aug of 2010 at that time it had just had all four ball joints and the idler arm replaced. Front-end alignment was done at the same time of the ball joints. Gas tank replaced. The Chevrolet S-10 Blazer/GMC S-15 Jimmy pickups/suvs are often referred to as the S-series. The S-series have common flaws Ball joints is one fo them. Motor: Unfortunately the S-series vehicles are known for bad bearings. The original motor spun a bearing at 164k. This was the summer of 2010. As it is my daily driver it needed to be fixed and fixed right. I purchased a replacement motor that was pulled from a 1996 GMC Jimmy by green bay auto salvage (I have the Vin# information on this vehicle). The nice guys at green bay auto salvage told me the motor had 130k when it was pulled. Had the motor gone through and installed at Gary's Service Center in Stevens Point. He fully inspected the motor and replaced all necessary gaskets. The intake manifold was degreased and Ac Delco Intake gaskets were installed. (Head gaskets are also a known issues on S-series vehicles.) In April 2011 I decided to freshen it up a bit more. Upper intake manifold removed. MFI injector upgrade!! ALL NEW INJECTORS UPDATED DESIGN $250+ New Ac Deleo fuel filter Bored throttle body with removed restrictor plate installed. Low temp thermostat installed. Plugs pulled inspected and replaced with AC Delco rapid fires. Taylor 8.2 mm plug wires installed Accel coil pack installed. Ac Delco distributor cap and rotor replaced. Spectra filter replaced with spectra dual cone filter. July 2011 Fuel pump died and was replaced with an Airtex complete assembly. Auto select in Stevens Point also redid fuel line at this time. In fall 2011 I had auto select in Stevens Point service the rear end. They replaced wheel bearings, break lines, wheel cylinders, springs, shoes, drums, and installed a chrome diff cover with Full synthetic fluid. February 2012 The radiator cracked. I had the cooling system flushed and had a ready rad radiator put in, in replacement. Spring 2012 I encountered another common issue with the s-series vehicles. The dreaded oil cooler lines. Both sets of lines and the gaskets in the oil filter adaptor have been replaced at Gordy's service center. Shocks were replaced this spring with procomp es 9000's. Installed the BRAND NEW Tread Wright Guard Dog m/t on US Wheel Stealth Star. I also had the front suspension inspected and replaced the idler arm. The truck has a leveling kit installed. Keyway Reindexed keys good for up to 2.5" of lift and procomp short add a leafs witch gave it 2" with a Rough Country Steering stabilizer. I had this installed by a shop as well. The transmission is a 2pc case 4l60e, Filter and flush in Oct. 2010, Installed a Transgo Corvette servo w long pin, and B&M Shift plus. It has solid shifts. The exhaust in the truck is a Flowmaster 44, with replaced Precat and post cat o2 sensors. As far as oil changes. Valvoline 5w30 under 3000 miles Napa (wix) Filters Front End components greased every oil change Tires Rotated every oil change This truck has all the common problems, Replaced with the best replacement parts. Vehicle Currently has a HyperTech Max Energy Programmer Installed I will include this for the price. MPG: I pull 17 city and 20 highway with the more aggressive tires. Interior: Replaced multifunction switch Smoke free Charcoal gray Power seat Front tweeters Summit racing tach Dual autometer pillar gauge Sunpro oil pressure gauge Sunpro trans temp gauge White face dashboard with glow gauge (color adjustable and brightness) Floor shift B&M shift plus (firmness adjustable from inside toggle switch "stock, stage 1, stage2") For the price I will also include the current system that is installed. This Truck has been gone through and well maintained. It had to be because it was my only vehicle. Body has higher miles (190k) on it but the drive train, interior, and exterior is in great shape. I had the Rear drums adjusted last month. Truck had a brand new alternator with lifetime warranty and a new Interstate MegaTron II battery put in last week! I have a lot stuck into this vehicle and unfortunately I have to sell it to get a car for school. I DO HAVE a carfax for this vehicle that I can email to you I have stacks and stacks of receipts! Looking to get 4500 for everything. I am just testing the water. Text or Call: 715 303 915six Thanks for looking!
