This is a baja package 1961 beetle, has roll cage inside and out, has polished aluminium door panels, 1600 cc dual intake motor and stinger exhaust. The car has been converted to 12volt and comes with some extra parts and wheels, including the extra wide 50's on the back. The motor ran when it was parked but has not been started for about 2 years. Interior is in good shape the seats are faded but not torn.On Oct-06-12 at 20:34:01 PDT, seller added the following information: The vehicle has been located in east Texas and has no underbody corrosion.On Oct-07-12 at 19:26:14 PDT, seller added the following information:The motor I pulled out of a 70's vw van and ran fine when I parked it. I have recently been hurt at work and dont know when I will be able to finish it. I did alot of the early work on getting it ready for my daughter, you can see the heater packs for a standard exhaust in the pictures of extra parts, there is also an extra generator and two 15" wheels for the back. The front end has been redone just needs an alignment, transmission was went through and oiled before it was parked. All of the electrical has been converted to 12 volt and works, lights also work. No rustor body damage. I beleive the motor just needs a little tinkering and it will run and be a great little car or toy.
