I have a nice 1986 honda 250r ATC , I bought this bike with plans to keep it as a rider and put my other one away. Times have changed and I dont have time to ride this bike so its time for it to go to someone who has time to enjoy it. The bike is in pretty good shape for being built in 8/85. I would rate the bike at around a 7 out of 10. The bike is all stock except for the following, rear fenders are new shiny maier, FMF silencer, teather kill switch, DG grab bar, and K&N air filter. The Plastics are all in good shape no cracks or breaks other than on the left tank shroud it had the bottom corner broken but has been plastic welded(pictured). This bike has been ridden so there are scratches in the front fender and tank shrouds but no deep gouges. It has new decals on front and rear fender and shrouds and new OEM fork boots on it. Frame shows normal paint wear from being ridden ,but no cracks and not bent. Everything works as it should on the bike, all brakes ,and lights , switches, etc. Stock tires aprox. 60% on stock wheels, wheels have some scrapes and minor dings. The guy i bought it from said the engine has never been apart and is stock bore. Bike starts right up and runs out nice. Has stock skid plates still on it and they are not all mangled up. Seat is nice and soft still , the cover does have 3-4 small spots (pictured) on the left rear corner , it has been like that through the 2 previous owners and has not gotten any worse. This bike would make a VERY nice rider or a great candidate for a resto to have a collector piece. I am willing to build a crate for it for an additional $200 ,but buyer will be responsible for handling any shipping details and costs, I could take to a shipping hub in topeka.ks for you.
