I'm relisting the vehicle because the high bidder ( attitechsh ) failed to pay for the car. He also failed to contact me or answer why he was not going to pay for his purchase. He cheated the second highest bidder from getting the vehicle, NOT FUNNY. 100% Rating should mean something to a seller, not true, don't bid on anything I list please! Here is a true barn find! You're bidding on a 1941 Chevrolet 4-Door Special Deluxe, this car was put away in a shed in 1990 when the owner had trouble with the carburation. As everyone knows we'll fix it later, didn't happen! I bought the car several months ago after hearing about the car. The body is in great shape, no major damage or missing parts. Every piece of chrome trim is in tact, grill is perfect, hood ornament is in great shape, all of the chrome around the windows is in tact, bumpers in great shape, need to be rechromed. All the tires and wheels are original 16" with all the original center hub caps, one trim ring is missing the other thre are still on the wheels, the tire are fair and hold air. It also has the original 16" spare in the trunk. The windows are in good condition, driver side and passenger front door glass have cracks and the passenger side windshield ( two piece ) has a crack as well, all other are fine. The interior is in great shape, no tears, stains, no broken springs, looks to be recovered in original material. Door panels are good, all door handles and window cranks are present. The headliner will need replacement, torn and old. The body has some surface rust, no major issues, paint is peeling from being stored. There is a couple of rust spots on the two front lower fenders, very small, easy fix, the floors are solid no signs of rust. The engine is the original straight six, three speed manuel, engine compartment is totally complete no missing parts. The das is unmolested, the factory clock is still in the dash, speed-o-meter and gauges are in tact, the radio is the only thing missing from the dash. All doors open and close easily, outside door handles are in tact and work properly. I bought the car to restore back to almost original, I find with two other cars I just don't have the time nor the room to keep anther car. The motor is easily turned over by grabbing the fan belt and turning it by hand, not frozen or seized up. Everything is in tact in the engine compartment and from what I see it would be running again with little effort. This is a great vehicle and an easy restoration, you don't have to look for any parts for this car to get it on the road, everything is there!! The car is being sold with no warranty or garantee. At close of auction a $250.00 deposit will be required to my pay pal account, the remainder to be paid before delivery. Cashiers check or cash.
