FOR SALE is my 1964 DODGE POLARA 440 SUPER STOCK (tribute) Highlights: Professionally-built at a cost of over $50,000. Build began with a rock-solid, laser-straight 1964 Dodge Polara 440 from California. Nut and bolt restoration was done with no expense spared. All glass is excellent, windshield is new windows roll up and down flawlessly. $10,000 paint with prismatic flake, color sanded with clearcoat. SHOW QUALITY PAINT has a couple of very small scuffs and chips but is nearly perfect. Correct Super Stock hood scoop. All new interior cost over $3000. Police car wheels with dog-dish hubcaps are period correct. All brightwork machine polished and is gorgeous! Modern radio hidden in glovebox works great with CD player. All new heavy duty drumbrakes. Brand new tires. Drivetrain: Professionally dyno-tuned 440 cubic inch V-8 engine with forged crank, forged rods, forged pistons, 2.20”/1.81” valve heads, hi-lift .546” cam, tru-roller timing set, Melling oil pump, and more. Cost over $11,000 to build. Fresh professionally-built 727 automatic with manual valve body. 8-3/4” posi rear with 3:55 gears. Condition: This beautiful car runs and drives excellent. It truly floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. I would drive it anywhere, anytime. Very luxurious and smooth and very, very fast when you drop the throttle to the floor. Car is very street-able and enjoyable to drive unlike you might expect. It makes the perfect sound through cherry bomb mufflers. Body is straight and solid as is the chassis and floors. The attention to detail is this car is truly exceptional. Painstakingly built by a master Mopar builder over the course of nearly 3 years (this was his personal car) and has been driven less very little since it was completed. Cars of this caliber are extremely hard to find and are investment-grade. I have a clean and clear Illinois title for the car. If this were a real 1964 Dodge Polara 440 Super Stock it would be worth millions since there was only ONE made. Own this re-creation for only $33,000. A very similar car sold in April at the Barrett Jackson auction for $54,500 and I think this car is of higher quality. You CANNOT build this car for less than the buy-it-now price.
