I have here for sale, a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle all Original, That is a true sleeper. With Patina exterior. This is a true patina! You either love it or hate it. Once again it was done like this on purpose I wasn't being cheap by not painting it. All New chrome all around. New weatherstripping rubber all around. A perfect condition rust free pan. All tires have great tread. Rims are painted to match the interior. Interior is new, it is a dark red, with Ivory white piping all around. Interior paint is original Ivory. New carpet, with rubber floor mat, on top. Radio is inside the glove compartment, with custom compartment done right, so you can still store things in and still be fully functional, running with (1) pioneer speaker in the stock location, sounds really good. And keeps the authenticity of the bug. All lighting and electric wiring works. Interior dome light works as it should, manual on and off switch, and door switch for both doors work. Secret Cut off switch, for security. Wipers work in perfect condition. New suspension 2 1/2" drop spindles Narrowed and slightly lowered front end Rear Pop out windows. All rust on exterior paint is part of the unique look that was portrayed, no rust penetrates anywhere on car. Front disc Brakes All Power-train has less then 400 Miles on them. It has an HD Pro Street freeway flying transmission (Long 4th) Gene Berg Short Shifter on stock handle Hydraulic Short Stage 1 Clutch (first gear push less then half way, 2nd, third, and fourth gear you only have to put your foot on the clutch, and slightly push with the weight of your foot down.) 2276cc Case, Dual 44IDF Webers on OG linkage, 6 Quart Sump, Oil Cooler with electric fan coming on 165+ degrees, wont shut off till it reaches below. Rarely comes on doesn't heat over. Comes in handy after car is shut off, and wont drain battery. Remote large Racing oil filter. Headers to a Fatboy Muffler Exhaust. Runs on regular premium pump gas.. over here it is 91octane Carbs have has just been tuned. And valves adjusted. All the best drive-train, built by Bob LaCoste himself. In the pictures, I am running with spare tire, the original tire shredded on one side, on the freeway on ramp a couple of weeks ago. It still holds air but, cant drive due to unbalance rubber.
